The Media and Entertainment Industry in India is growing faster than the country's galloping GDP! The MIT School of Film and Televisoion was established in 2015 (then called the School of Film & Televisoion) to fulfill the upcoming needs of this rapidly evolving sector.
School of Film and Televisoion, Rajbaug, Pune, is established under the MIT Art, Design and Technology University Act, 2015. As a recognized filmmaking university, we aim to create a global position for Indian film and Televisoion artists where their work is considered a benchmark in quality storytelling and performance.
Our student film ‘PARIAH’ received the National Award (2022), while other works like ‘DIVINE CANOPY’ and ‘KOYTA’ received the NCERT Award for Best Student Films, placing School of Film and Televisoion on the global creative map.
The school offers both film making degree programs and specialized filmmaking courses, including B.Sc. Filmmaking, M.Sc. Filmmaking, and Masters in Filmmaking, making us one of the top filmmaking colleges in India.
MIT Art, Design & Technology University has successfully positioned itself as a New Generation University which is having an aspiration to produce Innovators, Business Leaders, Scientists, Social Transformers, and nation builders, coming from all walks of life. MIT-ADT University has been taking a holistic approach towards imparting education wherein the students are being motivated to build a complete winning personality that is “physically fit, intellectually sharp, mentally alert and spiritually elevated”. The students are being encouraged to participate in yoga, meditation, physical training, spiritual elevation, communication skills, and other personality development programs.
