The academic curriculum of BA is of 3 years and 6 semesters, and the fourth year of BA (Administration) will be considered as Internship year. In this fourth year, students have to appear for the number of Prelim, Main and Interview Exams as per actual UPSC/State PSCs Exam Pattern as scheduled by MIT SICS throughout the year. To be eligible for the BBA LLB program, the Candidate shall have passed the 10+2 examination equivalent thereto and have obtained 45% of the total marks in case of general category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC & ST applicant. candidates to appear for an entrance exam, which will test their aptitude and knowledge in relevant subjects.

Candidates have to upload all necessary documents while filling up the form.
Admission is on the basis of MIT ID method of selection, which extends beyond the students previous academic qualifications. The MIT ID Admission Committee systematically seeks evidence of the perception, attitude, aptitude, achievement and motivation essential for a challenging and satisfying design career. The objective of the tests and the interviews is to ascertain the above qualities.The Admission Committee decides the procedures, grades and weightage every year.
The norms for the selection are the sole prerogative of the Admission Committee and the decision of the Admission Committee and the Management in any of the matters concerning the admission process and selection will be final. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the admission committee or its members, academic office bearers or management will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate(s).
The admission process is in two phases:
Phase - 1: (Design Aptitude Test) conducted at various centres across the country.
Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be conducted on the 1st Sunday of April at various test centres across India.(Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Pune) MIT ID reserves its right to add, change or cancel any of these centres.
Based on scores obtained from MIT DAT, shortlisted candidates will be called for second phase.The number of candidates to be shortlisted for the second round will be four times of the sanctioned intake (minimum) or more depending upon the number of eligible candidates
The score of the last candidate in the list will be the cut off score for the open category candidates
Relaxation in Cut-Off scores for candidates in reserved categories will be 10% less than cut off score for open category.
Phase – 2: Studio Test and Personal Interview at MIT ID campus in Pune.
The second phase of the admission procedure will consist of studio tests followed by personal interviews at Institute in Pune. All those candidates called for the second phase are required to attend the studio tests and interview, which completes the process of selection.

Master’s Degree in Food Science / Food Technology with prerequisite of four years BTech/ Equivalent degree programme, with minimum of 70% of marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade ‘B’ in the UGC 10 – point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed).
The candidates appearing for final year or final semester of their Post-Graduate Degree will also be eligible to appear for the admission process subject to the fulfilment of minimum eligibility criteria in the result thereof.

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil. course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade 'B' in the UGC 10-point scale (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) or an equivalent degree from a Foreign Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country to assess, accredit or assure quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to the PhD programme. (A person whose M.Phil. dissertation has been evaluated and recommended for award of the degree, may be admitted to the PhD programme in any Institution on a provisional basis even before the viva-voice or final defence).

All of the candidates should clear the personal interview as a part of PhD admission. The selection of qualified candidates should be based on interview/viva-voce for JRF/NET whereas for the candidates who have qualified the entrance test, the selection shall be evaluated in the ratio 70 (written test): 30 (interview). Merit list for both shall be separately published test.

For candidates with MSc qualification:
The required minimum qualification for admission to a PhD Program shall normally be a two years Master’s or M.Phil Degree from any accredited Indian or Foreign University in the relevant field. She/he must have obtained either a minimum of 60% marks or Equivalent Grade in the M.Phil degree or in the Master’s Degree (for all disciplines except Engineering and Technology). In addition, overall 60% at all academic levels will be desirable.
For candidates with MTech/BTech qualification:
Applicants with MTech/BTech/ME/MS qualification in relevant disciplines with excellent academic record with minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 60% marks and with 60% aggregate in Xth , XIIth and BTech/BE will be considered eligible for admission in PhD Programs in Engineering and Technology.
Applicants with MBBS/BDS degree or equivalent in relevant discipline with excellent academic record with minimum CGPA of 5.5 on a 10 point scale or equivalent or 55% marks may be considered eligible for admission to PhD Programs in the relevant field.
Foreign/ NRI applicants / Applicants with a Masters‟ degree from a foreign university must apply with an equivalence certificate of AIU along with the Online Application Form
