The jurisdiction of MIT ADT University is limited to its campus premises. Students who create law and order issues outside the campus shall be accountable to local police or civil authorities.
MIT ADT University is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of students, provided they comply with applicable laws and University regulations.
As per the MIT-ADTU Code of Conduct, disciplinary action shall be taken against students violating Hostel Rules. The Disciplinary Committee's decision shall be final and binding.
Boarders are expected to live in the hostel as a community with a full sense of responsibility, with proper decorum and social etiquette.
Boarders are strictly prohibited from engaging in acts of theft, immoral behavior, or misbehavior. Spreading regionalism, communalism, and casteism is NOT allowed.
Students are prohibited from engaging in any political or communal activities. Propagation of political or communal matters is strictly prohibited.
Uploading derogatory remarks or images ridiculing any person or the Institute may result in disciplinary action.
Students must obtain prior written permission from Management before providing information or interviews to any media.
Hostel accommodation is for one academic year. Students must apply annually for retention. Accommodation does not guarantee automatic continuation.
A student shall not change or interchange their allotted room without prior permission of the Hostel Administrator.
Students should vacate their rooms completely when required in the university's interest. Alternate accommodation will be provided.
Students are not permitted to bring additional furniture. All provided furniture must be maintained in good condition. Missing items will be charged at twice the applicable cost.
Only table lamps, personal laptops/computers, mobile gadgets, and study materials are permitted. Unauthorized electrical appliances will be confiscated.
Switch off all electrical appliances when leaving the room. Do not leave water taps open to prevent unnecessary water loss.
Hostel Wardens and Security Guards have the right to conduct regular and surprise room inspections at any time. Students must cooperate.
Occupation of hostel premises does not confer any tenancy or legal occupancy rights.
Students must carry their Institute Identity Card when moving out of the hostel and campus.
Personal vehicle parking is not allowed at hostel premises. Two-wheeler users must wear helmets and carry vehicle documents.
During vacations, keep all belongings in the cupboard under lock & key. The hostel authority is not responsible for missing materials.
Do not keep costly items like jewellery or electronic gadgets unattended. Keep valuables secured with lock and key.
Possession of firearms, weapons, ammunition, explosives, inflammable goods, and firecrackers is strictly prohibited.
Strictly prohibited from bringing, consuming, or possessing alcohol, narcotics, or tobacco on hostel premises. Violation may lead to rustication.
Damage to common property will be shared equally among all users. Hammering nails or affixing posters on walls is strictly prohibited.
All students must be present during routine roll call. Stay updated via the hostel's WhatsApp Group and regularly check emails from the Hostel Administrator.
Attendance is taken before 9:30 PM every night. Students must sign the register between 9:00 PM – 9:30 PM or record biometric attendance daily.
Night out is allowed for substantial reasons. Written permission from parents via email is required before leaving the hostel.
Strict silence from 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM. Music or loud talking must not be audible outside the room. Recreational facilities must be turned off at 10:30 PM.
Students must be decently dressed outside their rooms. For girls, tight body-hugging clothes, short tops/pants, and revealing attire are strictly prohibited outside the room.
Wi-Fi must be used strictly for educational purposes. Pirated movies, unauthorized chatting, or non-relevant data exchange is not allowed.
The Mess is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. A Mess Committee and Food Testing Team ensure highest quality standards.
MIT-ADT campus is a pure-vegetarian environment. Mess allocation is pre-defined and specific to respective mess.
Shirt/T-shirt, long pants, and appropriate shoes are mandatory in the Mess. Slippers/Chappals are strictly prohibited.
Cooking inside rooms is strictly prohibited. Only sealed dry food packets are permitted. Online food orders accepted until 9:30 PM.
Students must maintain cleanliness in their premises. Rubbish must be disposed of only in designated dustbins. Housekeeping staff must not be used for personal work.
Students are not allowed to bring or keep any pets. Avoid pampering stray dogs by offering food or petting them.
Visitors are permitted only in the visitor's lobby during specified hours. Students cannot take visitors into their rooms.
4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays.
10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays & Holidays.
University maintenance staff must enter details in the technician visit register and will be accompanied by hostel staff.
Prior permission from the Hostel Administrator is required. Birthdays must be held in a common place for 1–2 hours between 8:00 PM – 10:00 PM. No outside guests or narcotics allowed.
Vishwaraj Multispecialty Hospital is nearby for emergency care. Students with infectious diseases must vacate or be isolated. Hostel staff will notify parents in case of hospitalization.
MIT ADT University follows a "No Tolerance Policy" on ragging. Ragging is a CRIMINAL & NON-BAILABLE offence. Violations lead to severe penalties including expulsion.
Freshers should report ragging incidents immediately to the Anti-Ragging Committee / Warden / Principal. Being a silent spectator is also an offence.
As per Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act 1999 and UGC Regulations 2009, as per the order of the Hon. Supreme Court of India.
