History of the Institute
MIT Art, Design and Technology University (MIT-ADT University), established in 2016 by the Government of Maharashtra, is a progressive state private university under the renowned MIT Group of Institutions, Pune. Accredited with an 'A' Grade by NAAC, the university has positioned itself as a new-generation, multidisciplinary institution committed to nurturing innovators, business leaders, scientists, social transformers, and nation builders from diverse backgrounds.

The School of Education and Research (SOER), a constituent unit under the Humanities and Social Sciences vertical, plays a pivotal role in developing competent, reflective, and socially responsible educators.
