Are you ready to take your career to the next level? MIT School of Holistic Development, the brainchild of our Executive President Prof. Dr. Mangesh T. Karad is yet another path-breaking initiative of MIT ADT University. Continuing to tend the tree expanding its branches, its seed was sown on 2nd August 2018 with a vision to create winning personalities and global professionals enabling them to meet challenges of career and life with skills, sensibilities, and a sense of responsibility towards society and humanity. Immense hard work by the team is its sunshine, the unending support, and enthusiasm from the students water the tree and fruits turn out to be a charismatic experience in students’ life at SHD.

Integral education and synergy for holistic development of students, the School of Holistic Development has evolved a unique method to nurture the personalities of students, inspired by the Indic approach to overall development. The School of Holistic Development has developed a model of creating wholesome personalities by supplementing the core curriculum of chosen areas of study with specific courses to cater to other intelligence.

SHD’s APPROACH TO “WHOLESOME DEVELOPMENT” THROUGH "PANCHA-KOSHA"

'Bhrigu Valli' in 'Taitteriya Upnishad' has deciphered the five Koshas (sheaths) of the human personality enabling to reveal and construct those secret five sheaths to identify one's real personality.

PENTAGON OF INTEGRAL EDUCATION

The school mainly works on five aspects of integral education called ‘Pentagon of Integral Education’. The five approaches or tools have been derived from the above mentioned ‘Pancha Kosha’ system of the Indian perspective of holistic development. The ‘Pentagon’ emphasizes physical, emotional, psychological, and intellectual development and spiritual awakening. This programme at the School of Holistic Development works at the levels of senses and for a healthy body, mind, emotions, and psychology, skills and competencies for technical and intellectual enhancement, responsible behaviour towards society and environment, yoga, values and spirituality to achieve the final objective of self-realization, self-discovery and finding out one’s real-life purpose.
