Message from Leadership

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

It is with great pleasure that I address you today as the Principal of our esteemed School of Vedic Sciences. As we embark on this academic journey together, I am excited to share with you the unique intersection of psychology and vedic sciences within our department. Our department is dedicated to the rigorous study of the human mind and behavior, drawing from contemporary psychological theories and research methodologies.

Through our comprehensive curriculum and dedicated faculty, we strive to equip our students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the complexities of the modern world. In addition to our focus on mainstream psychology, we are also proud to integrate insights from Vedic sciences into our academic programs. The ancient wisdom of the Vedas offers profound insights into human consciousness, well-being, and personal development, complementing and enriching the perspectives offered by Western psychology.

Through courses, workshops, and research projects, we explore the intersections between psychology and Vedic sciences, fostering a holistic understanding of the human experience. By embracing both the empirical rigor of psychology and the wisdom of Vedic sciences, we aim to offer a balanced and comprehensive education that empowers students to address the challenges of today's world with clarity, compassion, and resilience.

I invite you to join us on this fascinating journey of exploration and discovery. Together, let us uncover the connections between mind, body, and spirit, and cultivate a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

Warm regards,
Dr. Madhavi Godbole
Associate Dean, MIT School of Vedic Sciences.
