Introduction to CRiEYA (Centre for Research, Innovation and Entrepreneurship for Young Aspirants)
The Innovation fund and support from the CRIEYA assist faculty and student research move from the laboratory toward the marketplace. The funding can be used to:
De-risk the technology by developing prototypes or conducting proof of concept experiments and
Determine a go-to market strategy for the products or systems or services being developed
The end point of the grant funding should be a well-defined business opportunity attractive to technology purchasing or start-up company formation or licensing to a commercial firm.
The primary grant up to Rs. 5,00,000/- per project.
CRiEYA Mission-
To enable translation of an innovative idea to a prototype, leading to promising innovations.
To provide a platform to faster experimentation and modify approaches in the idea to market journey.
To generate innovative solutions relevant to the local and global problems.
To attract a large number of MITADT Students who demonstrate problem solving zeal and abilities to work on their new technology/knowledge/ innovation-based start-ups.
To enhance the pre-incubation pipeline and incubation projects in terms of quality POCs to nurture as incubator.
To build a vibrant innovation ecosystem across university by establishing prototype & innovation labs and a network between innovators, academia, mentors, Industry, incubators and foundations.
