Teaching Pedagogy
Maharashtra Institute of Naval Education & Training (MANET) offers the following programmes:
B.Tech. in Marine Engineering and B.Sc. in Nautical Science. The former residential programme has a duration of 4 years and is divided into 8 semesters. The latter science programme has a duration of 3 years and is divided into 6 semesters.
The teaching imparted at MANET is through well-equipped laboratories & a library with a vast collection of books and relevant journals, magazines and e-books.
The teaching curriculum incorporates education through well-equipped Engineering and Marine workshops, Navigation and Seamanship laboratories coupled with a Lifeboat training facility.

The MANET campus has a Ship-in-campus facility with a real Training Ship Vishwanath. It also has an Engine room simulator and a 360-degree Bridge simulator.
