Blood Donation Camp at MIT-ADT University Organized on the occasion of Engineer's Day; Great response from students

In a remarkable display of social commitment, MIT University of Art, Design, and Technology hosted a grand blood donation camp on the occasion of National Engineer's Day, in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) and the National Cadet Corps (NCC). The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, resulting in the collection of approximately 150 blood bags.

The blood donation camp commenced with an opening ceremony attended by esteemed dignitaries, including Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dr. Ramchandra Pujeri, Dr. Rajnish Kaur Sachdev Bedi, Dr. Vipul Dalal, Dr. Virendra Shete, Dr. Sudarshan Sanap, Dr. Suraj Bhoyer, NCC Coordinator Major Suman Kumari, NSS Coordinator Prof. Vishal Patil, and other faculty members.

During the event, speakers highlighted the critical importance of blood donation, commending the social initiatives undertaken by MIT ADT University and the proactive involvement of its students. Prof. Dr. Mangesh Karad, Executive President and Vice-Chancellor of MIT ADT University, emphasized that such initiatives are vital in fostering a sense of responsibility among students towards society.

This successful camp not only contributed to saving lives but also instilled in students the message of giving back to the community during their college years.
