Pune/Ulsan (South Korea)– In a proud moment for Indian academia, Dr. Sagar Tambe, Associate Professor and Program Head, Department of Computer Engineering, MIT School of Computing (MITSoC), MIT-ADT University, Pune, made a significant impact at the 17th International Conference on Human System Interaction (IEEE HSI 2025) held at the University of Ulsan, South Korea.
Representing MIT-ADT University and India as part of the International Relations Cell, Dr. Tambe showcased academic excellence through a high-impact technical presentation and served as Session Chair for the track "Advances of Assistive Technologies in the Real World". His leadership and engagement in cross-disciplinary discussions highlighted India’s growing influence in the global academic and technology community.
Dr. Tambe’s research paper titled,
“A Comparative Analysis of Wireless Body Sensors Network: OMNeT++, Castalia, NS3”, co-authored by Dr. Jayashree Prasad and Dr. Rajneeshkaur Sachdeo, was honored with the Best Presentation Paper Award. The paper offered a detailed comparative study of simulation tools for Wireless Body Sensor Networks (WBSNs), providing essential insights for researchers and technologists in the domain of human-centric wireless systems.
In addition to presenting award-winning research, Dr. Tambe actively participated in academic networking sessions, where he engaged with scholars and researchers from around the world. These interactions laid the foundation for future collaborations, including joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programs, industry-academia partnerships, and potential technology transfer opportunities.
