Mr. Samir has played an important role in the financial infrastructure building in India. He is indeed instrumental in playing a pivotal role at the time when exchanges were being evolved, depositories got created, derivatives was launched, private asset management companies were being formed and brokerages were getting institutionalized.  He loves market development and has spoken in several conferences and shared his views through talk sessions and interviews in journals. He has co-authored a book on Technology for Financial Markets which is extensively used for developing exchange trading applications. This book is included in the curriculum of several universities worldwide including the University of Chicago. His interests are reading, watching movies and travelling. He has travelled extensively globally.

His strong acumen in business development is further bolstered by his academic credentials, having completed a Master’s Program in International Business from the Symbiosis Institute of International Business.
