1. When is the Aptitude Test conducted?
National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA) will be conducted by the Council of Architecture on 10th April 2021 & 11 July 2021. For more information check the web site: www.nata.in
2. Whether the Aptitude Test is compulsory or not?

Yes, Aptitude test- NATA is compulsory. No candidate including Management Quota, PIO, and Foreign students shall be admitted to any architecture college unless he or she qualifies the Aptitude Test.
NATA is conducted every year at the authorized test Centre for NATA

3. What are the minimum qualifications for the admission?

1) The candidate is willing to apply B.Arch. (5 years full-time) the program must have to pass (10 + 2) examination in physics, chemistry, and mathematics along with NATA qualifying score.

OR

2) 10 + 3 Diploma Examination recognized by Central /State Governments with Mathematics, as a compulsory subject. The entire admission Architectural degree course shall be subject to qualifying score of NATA exam as per Council of Architecture Norms, New Delhi.
The merit list of eligible candidates will be prepared as per the directives of COA, New Delhi for the shortlisting of candidates.

4. What is the intake capacity of our college?

80 seats in the First year of B.Arch. course, 20 Seats in First year of M.Arch (Traditional Indian knowledge System) course, and 20 Seats in First year of M.Plan (Urban & Rural Planning) course

5. What is the annual fee structure for 'Indian' and 'Foreign' students for B.Arch
(i) For Indian candidate fee (Tuition, Development and University) Rs : 1,75,700 /- HOSTEL Fee : 1,30,000/-( Hostel facility for first year students is inside the campus )
(ii) For NRI, PIO, OCI & Foreign national candidate fee (Tuition, Development and University) will be 1.5 times higher than Indian candidate.
6. Whether hostel accommodation & other amenities are available?
Separate hostels for boys and girls are provided within the campus with all modern amenities such as Messes, canteens, laundry, dispensary, banks, ATM Centers, are provided within the campus.
7. How is our college campus connected to the main Pune City?

The college campus is well connected with the Public transport service from all parts of the pune city, College bus facility available on the selected route of the city.

8. What other program do you offer related to architecture?

We offer two masters programs,
i) M.Arch in Traditional Indian Knowledge System and,
ii) Master of Planning in Urban and Rural Planning. We have a doctoral program in Architecture and offer PhD in Architecture.
We offer two Certificate courses
i) Artificial Intelligence in Architecture
ii) GIS Application in Architecture

9. Is the placement facility available?

Placements cell is also active to help students gain internships during architectural training and jobs after graduation. They can continue education in masters

10. Do you also teach or prepare Students for gate ?

We groom the students for every subject into Architecture, we conduct guest lectures, practical training, take workshops for better understanding which eventually helps students to score in Gate

11. on online platform how the college compensates for site visits and practical workshops

We generally show students the on-site photographs for various site visits..so they actually see what happens on site..also for subjects like BTM we make models on SketchUp and show them for clarity also we show them relevant videos available , brochures ,photos and give them the list of books which they can refer for actual drawings

12. For Masters can we get the course content and details of the program

Yes we can share the details with you .Course content will be explained by relevant Masters faculty

13. Can we get option of part time in Masters

No ,this is a full time course to be completed in 2years . So the part time option is not available.

14. what kind of opportunities do students get when they pass out from reputed college

Generally it depends on the work of the student and they have to present their portfolio at the time of interview..But yes, passing out from a reputed college creates an identity in the market, as people are aware about the quality of education the college imparts which is a plus point

15. Is there a possibility of having short term certificate courses instead of an engagement of 2 years full time?

Yes we have two Certificate courses i) Artificial Intelligence in Architecture ii) GIS Application in Architecture

18. Are these Masters programs approved by authority ?

We are in the process of getting approval of the M Arch course from the Council of Architecture and ITPI. Due to the current situation it is delayed. We will get it soon.

19. What opportunities do I have after completing my M Plan ?

You can get opportunities to work in government sectors such as CIDCO, Town planning department, Corporation, etc. You can also set up your own practice as a planner. You can get involved in many private sector firms, NGO’s, etc.

20. What are the fees for the Masters program ?

1,75,000 per year for both the programs.

22. Is the admission process different for sponsored candidates ?

The admission process is the same for all the candidates.

23. Is Professional training required for both the master programs ?

Yes. 2 months training is essential and part of the curriculum for both the program.

24. What is the selection criteria for the master program ?

Selection is based on merit list displayed after the interviews conducted.
