Greetings from the Office of Dean - Research & Consultancy (R&C)!

True to the clarion call by our Honourable Prime Minister for Aatmanirbhar Bharat, MIT Art Design and Technology University, Pune (MIT ADT University) envisions to build an Applied Research and Innovation driven University. As New Education policy emphasises on enhancing the interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary nature of education, MIT ADT University is rightly positioned to leverage the strength of Arts, Design and Technology through various constituent schools.

Aligned to the IMPRINT initiative (IMPacting Research INnovation and Technology) and National Research Foundation (NRF) by Government of India, MIT ADT University is building the holistic research and innovation ecosystem. With an intent to engage the right stakeholders (students, faculty, scholars, industry, government departments etc), it focuses on building below facets:

Academic Research / Sponsored Research / Consultancy Engagements

As the outcome of Research is aimed towards public good and community building, MIT ADT University is collaborating with partners to set-up specific Domain and Technology-led Centre of Excellences (CoEs). Each of these CoE would propel the growth of Research and Innovation culture at University. It is also working with the international partners to learn and share the global best practices to benchmark against the world-class research institutions.

An IPR Cell is established that closely works with the scholars to facilitate the IP filing. A dedicated Technology Transfer Office (TTO) would work in tandem with Industry partners to commercialize the technologies and accelerate the Go-to-Market (GTM) of various research outcomes. To financially support the scholars, a Funding Opportunities and Management Office (FOM) is being planned to collaborate with various funding agencies including government, corporate, family offices, foundations etc.

As a new-age and aspirational University, MIT ADT University welcomes every stakeholder to be a part of this family. I would request everyone to be part of TEAM MIT-ADT to achieve the dream of building this Applied Research and Innovation driven University.
