Our student’s short films are getting nominated at various international film festivals around the world and are being invited to assist in film, by new and upcoming film makers around the country.

• SFT Students begin their search for Placements within the campus as eminent cinema industry practitioners visit the campus as Visiting Faculty. They recommend SFT students for work placements on various projects.
• SFT Students also get an opportunity, annually, to interact with media industry practitioners at the Pune International Film Festival, which they attend as student delegates.
• Addition to the above, given below are some of the highlights of our students and where they work:
  
  MSC in Filmmaking Students (Alumni’s) Mr. Gunjan Jaywant & Mr. Ankit Bhat are working as assistant cinematographer with Renowned Director of Photography of Hindi Film Industry.
• Three of BSC in Filmmaking Students Mr.Souchandra Witkar has worked in a couple of Hindi Films and is currently working with a renowned sound recording and mixing studio in Mumbai.
• Our Final Year Students Mr. Archit Kirkinde & Mr.Gandhar Gaikwad have already done a handful of Marathi films and web series even before completing their final year.
