The B.A. in Screen Acting is a dynamic, practice-driven program designed for aspiring actors who wish to build a professional career in front of the camera. This program goes beyond traditional stage acting by focusing specifically on the skills and techniques required for film and screen-based performances.

Students will be trained in acting methods tailored for the screen, including detailed script analysis, character development, and on-camera performance techniques. Course Overview:

Acting in theatre is what gives the world’s best actors their inner strength and confidence to perform anywhere- in theatre, films and television. The Course at MIT SFT’s Department of Drama is designed to develop students into top-rated performers. Beginning with Movements, Voice culture and theatre techniques, the course moves students through various levels of performance in Monologues, Scene work, and full length Play performances.

In addition, students learn martial arts, performing for camera, make-up, and costumes besides studying various levels of performance on stage. The BA in Dramatics is a professional Course designed to train actors in the best possible manner.

    Specialization Overview

    Theatre Arts: MIT SFT’S Department of Theatre is a National Theatre Training Institute which focuses on Practical as well as Theoretical aspects of Theatre. We provide a full time, three years Bachelor’s in arts Degree course in Dramatics. The entire course emphasizes a ratio of 60:40 Pattern that includes Practical and Theory respectively, with Hindi and English as the languages used as the medium for teaching. This course introduces students to different aspects of Theatre and Performing Arts and their interrelationships.

    Admission Procedure
    A) A candidate must register for admission by visiting our

    B) The registration fees is Rs.1500/-
    C) B.A/B.Sc./M.A./M.Sc. in Film Making Students will have to appear for an online
    Aptitude Test and Creative Test followed by a personal interview.

    B.A. in Dramatics Students will have to appear for an online Aptitude Test, Monologue Test followed by a personal interview.
    The personal interview consists of discussion with a panel of experts.
    Candidates will be Judged based on: Self-Analysis, Socio-Political awareness,
    Knowledge of world Cinema/Theatre/art/culture and Future career goals.
