1. Is the School NCTE recoginized?

3. What is the qualification required to pursue B.Ed course?

Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a degree course so the candidate must have at least Graduation Degree and / or Post-Graduation Degree with 50% marks for general candidates and 45% marks for SC/ST/PH candidates.

4. Do I have to give an Entrance Exam?

Yes, Any B.Ed CET is acceptable. As well PERA association coonducts the PERA CET.

5. What are the documents required for the admission in B.Ed?

The following documents are required to apply for the admission in B.Ed course. Please make sure you check the eligibility criteria for the admission first.

  • 10th class Certificate and Mark sheet

6. I am appearing in the final year exams for my graduation or post-graduation, how can I get admission in B.Ed without my results?

You can request B Ed Admission to hold your seat by doing the registration online as well as by appearing for CET. B Ed Admission can reserve your set till the end of August.

7. What are the fee options? Do I have to pay the full fee in advance?

The students have the option to pay the fee with net banking, or by DD. Please note that B Ed Admission doesn’t accept cash payments. For the fee to be paid in instalments please contact B Ed Admission for the options available.

8. I don’t have 50% marks in my graduation degree but I have more than 50% marks in my post-graduation. Can I apply for the B.Ed course?

Yes, the candidate should have 50% marks either in graduation or post-graduation degree. You can fill the online application form

9. I am a BBA/BALLB/BCA / BBA / BE / BHMS etc candidate, can I do B.Ed course?

Yes, any student who has a valid UGC approved degree (i.e. BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA, BA-LLB etc) is eligible for the admission in B.Ed course in School of Education & Research, MIT-ADT University, Pune. The student must have at least 50% aggregate marks in that degree.

Though the students can write the exam in MArathi/Hindi, the majority of the course can be taken in English only.

Candiates have to meet eligibility criteria set by the MIT ADTU University.

Your admission will be confirmed after completing the admission procedure, submitting the required documents and payment of fees.

17. What are the timings of the University for admission?

MITADT University remains open between 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday to saturday, with the exception of first and third Saturday and Major Indian holidays.

18. What are the employment oppourtunities after completion of this course?

You are eligiible for Teacher /cordinator in schools and junior colleges affiliated to boardds like SSC,CBSE,ICSE,IGCSE and also you can pursue higher education like M.Ed or M.A.in Education.

Annual examination pattern is followed. Examinations are usually conducted in the month of May.

2. Who can pursue M.A.e-learning course?

Candidates having graduated in commerce, Arts, Humanities including management and Law can apply for M.A e-learning.All the candidates applying for this course need to have basic computer knowledge of MS office.

3. Who can pursue M.Sc. e-learning course?

Candidates having graduated in B.E / B.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc. Medical and paramedical students can apply for M.A e-learning.All the candidates applying for his course need to have basic computer knowledge of MS office.

The entrance exam will assess the basic English language, Presentation skills, Computer Operations, Logical thinking.

6. What is Statement of Purpose (SOP)?

A Statement of Purpose is an essay stating the purpose of applying to a particular course in a particular university. This essay consists of a gist of who you are, who you want to become, and how ready you ae to pursue a certain course in an institution.

3. What is the difference between M.Ed and M.A in Education course?

M.A in Education and M.ED course are equivalent. Only difference is that M.A Education can be done after any bachelors degree, but for M.Ed you need to have passed B.Ed. degree.

4. I am a graduate can I take admission for M.A Education without B.Ed?

Yes, you can take admission for the M.A Education course even if you are graduate from any stream.

Minimum 50% marks in bachelors degree for open category and 45% for reserved category.

8. Do I have to give any CET for getting admission in M.A in Education?

No, for getting admission to M.A in Education program you dont have any CET. You will be given admission based on your bachelors marks.

9. How do I know that my admission is confirmed?

10. How will be the assessment pattern of the course?

M.A education course follows 60:40 (External : Internal) assessment pattern. Internals will include practicals, hand on activities for assessment. External will be end semester examination.

11. My degree will be given by which university?

Degree will be awarded by MIT Art, Design & Technology University, A state private university.

12. Is MIT-ADT University degrees recognized abroad?

As MIT ADT university is a state private university, established under Maharashtra state act and recognized by UGC all the degrees awared by the university are recognized anywhere in world.

13. Will I get placements?

15. Will I become a teacher after doing M.A in Education course?

For getting a teacher job in many schools you will need to have mandatory B.Ed course so, in that case you wont be able to get a teacher job directly in schools. But yes you will have skills needed for becoming a good teacher.

After successful completion of the course you will be able to become a teacher educator, content writer, curriculum developer, senior position in an educational institute , policy maker, government officer, e content developer, and so on.

17. What all will I get to learn during the course?

In this 2 years duration you will be able to learn about human psychology, Assessment for learning, Philosophy of education, sociology of education, educational management, inclusive education, research in education, advanced research, comparative education, ICT in education. Along with these we have electives like art and drama in education, peace education, lifeling education, guidance and counseling and so on.
