    • Candidates having graduation and/or post-graduation in Commerce, Arts, Humanities including Management and Law can apply for M.A in e-learning.
    • Candidates who have a degree in B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc. / Medical and Paramedical students can apply for M.Sc in e-learning.
    • Graduates belonging to the Open category from any discipline which is a recognized/statutory University or Institute should have a minimum of 50% of equivalent in the qualifying exam.
    • The reservation and relaxation of 5 % marks will be given to the candidates belonging to S.C./ S.T./ V.J.N.T./ O.B.C./P.W.D. and other notified categories as per the State Government Rules.
    • For Foreign Students, the University rules will be applicable.
    • A candidate who has completed a qualifying degree from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and need to be verified from AIU by the candidate before seeking admission for the program.

    Entrance Test:Candidates who satisfy the above criteria will appear for an entrance examination. The entrance exam will assess the basic English language, Presentation skills, Computer Operations, and Logical thinking. It will be an online examination of 50 marks for 100 minutes. This exam will be based on the application of all the above-mentioned topics. To qualify in this exam candidates must score 50%.

    Statement of Purpose:Candidates who qualify in the entrance exam will submit a statement of purpose. Based on which final call letter for admission will be sent to the candidates.

    For Ph.D Programs:

    Selection to the PhD programs would be based on performance in a written test, previous academic record and an interview. Only such applicants, who obtain the minimum required marks in aptitude test, subject specific test and the indicated total percentage of marks, will be considered for final preparation of result as given below:

    • General/SC/ST/OBC: [Research Aptitude and Subject specific Test (FM: 30 + 70 = 100) = Weightage: 40%; Academic record & Interview (FM: 30 + 70 = 100) = Weightage: 60%; and Total Weightage: = 100%].
    • A relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks of the entrance test will be applicable for SC/ST/ OBC students.

    Duration of the entrance test will be of 2 hours: 1 hour for research aptitude and 1 hour for subject specific. Question papers for research aptitude and subject specific will be set and evaluated by a board constituting of Head of Departments and the research supervisors for each department under MIT ADT University. The candidates who have qualified the Entrance test would be required to appear before an interview panel, of the Department/ Institute concerned, as approved by the Vice Chancellor with Head of the Department being the Chairperson.

    The Interview board would consist of
    (i) Head of the Department
    (ii) Two Professors
    (iii) two external subject experts nominated by the Vice Chancellor.
    The interview process shall consist of assessing the candidates on the basis of the following three criteria:

    • A research proposal (in 400-600 words) submitted to the interview board in the area of interest of the applicant. Board will consider the area on the basis of main two points: whether the study is feasible at the university and if the proposed study is contributing to new / additional knowledge.
    • Presentation of the said research proposal by the applicant in front of the interview board.
