Ms. Swizel Pinto was awarded a gold medal for successfully completing B.A. (Hons.) English degree and securing the first rank.
She had previously won ‘Most Rhetoric Speech’ in MIT-ADT Talk (Super Oratory Championship) and also conducted a seminar on Intertextuality between Dante and Eliot.
She has been accepted at Trinity College Dublin for M.Phil. in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies programme.
Ms. Neha Thapar published her book of poetry titled ‘Swimming in Flower Fields and Feeling Nothing’.
Ms. Ishita Gadgil secured the Best Paper Presentation Award (third rank) at English Literature Summit 2024, a virtual international conference held on the 26 th and 27 th July 2024 jointly organized by the International Society for Educational Leadership (USA, Australia, and India) and MIT Art, Design and Technology University,
Pune for her paper titled ‘Vanished Women of the Mahabharata: A Comprehensive Analysis of Dushala, Chitrangada, Ulupi, Sugadha, and Uttara’.
Ms. Aliya Akhun published two poetry collections: ‘Amaryllis’ and ‘Simple Findings’.
Ms. Sehnaaz Sheikh won the title of Ms. Universe Asia 2022. She has also received the award of the Best Content Creator and Brand Manager of the Year 2022.
Ms. Swizel Pinto and Ms. Neha Thapar co-wrote, directed and staged the play ‘Hyacinth’ while in their second semester of the B.A. (Hons.) English Programme.
The School of Film and Television & the School of Drama, MIT ADT University, extended their support for the same.

Dr. Atul Patil was awarded with the Inspirational Leadership in Education Award at The Shiksha Award 2.0.
Dr. Atul Patil Sir was invited as a Resource Speaker to deliver a talk on the topic “We teach…but do they learn? We evaluate, but do they improve?” for International Training on Enhancing Teachers’ Assessment and Evaluation and Demo Teaching Presentation; he conducted the session on 24th August 2024.
Our faculties published a book chapter in a book published by Rawat Publications, a reputable publisher listed with the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). The chapter titled "The School of Holistic Development: Empowering Minds, Hearts, and Enriching Futures with the National Education Policy (NEP)" is authored by Ashok Ghuge, Atul Patil, Rahul Mane, and Vasim Tamboli. The 8000-word chapter, which highlights
the School of Holistic Development in light of NEP 2020, was selected among the top 10 out of 100 submissions.
Prof. Dr. Atul Patil delivered a talk on the “Importance of Technical English & Communication Skills for Engineers” at the IEEE & EBSCO Knowledge event held at Sheraton Grand Hotel, Pune, on 3rd July 2024.
Dr. Atul Patil was invited for a guest lecture in the International Lecture Series 3 with the
theme: “Artificial Intelligence and its Impact on English Language Teaching and Learning in the Information Age”, held on 11th May 2024 via Zoom Platform. Dr. Atul Patil also received the Certificate of Recognition from the University of Southeastern Philippines, Davao City, Philippines.
Prof. Siddhi Lonkar from the School of Humanities successfully completed a 12-week NPTEL online certification course on Literature and Life with a consolidated score of 64%.
Dr. Atul Patil conducted guest sessions at YASHADA for Deputy Collectors from all over Maharashtra.
