    Overview

At the Department of Psychology, MIT School of Vedic Sciences, we firmly believe that true education extends well beyond the boundaries of the classroom. Our students are encouraged and empowered to explore the full spectrum of their potential – academic, professional, and personal – making them well-rounded individuals who are prepared to thrive in every walk of life. On the curricular front, our students consistently demonstrate academic excellence, engaging deeply with both modern psychological sciences and Indian Knowledge Systems, contributing to meaningful research that bridges the ancient and the contemporary.

Beyond academics, our students actively participate in a wide array of co-curricular pursuits – attending and presenting at seminars, workshops, and conferences, collaborating on funded research projects, and taking part in industry-oriented internships that give them a real-world understanding of the field. The Psychology Club serves as a vibrant platform where curiosity meets creativity, fostering peer learning, critical thinking, and a spirit of inquiry that goes hand in hand with their formal education. On the extra-curricular front, our students bring the same energy and enthusiasm to cultural events, sports, community outreach, and social initiatives, embodying the holistic vision that MIT School of Vedic Sciences stands for.

Whether it is excelling in academic competitions, making a difference through community service, or showcasing their talents on a cultural stage, our students carry with them a unique identity – one shaped by the values of compassion, resilience, and an integrated understanding of the self and the world.
